Baise No.1 Middle School is established in 1978. It is located beside of You River surrounded by blue mountains and green water. It is one of the key high schools in Baise City. With a construction area of 19,725 square meters, it covers an area of 35,964 square meters (54 Mu), in which the school building covers an area of 11924 square meters, teaching, office building covers 6,863 square meters.

Under the guideline " people first, face all, train qualified construction talents for the hometown , for the country, for university transport a high-qualified outstanding students " running a school, in line with the aim of the school that " all is for students , for all students , for all of students ", have confirmed the goal of running our school --The short-term goal is to build up our school into a leading group and teaching staffs, student's overall qualities , management level, the educational teaching level, teaching equipments first-class garden school of Baise in 2003;The Medium-term objective is to turn our school into autonomous region demonstrative school (It is set up to be a provincial demonstrative high school to plan now); The long-term goal is to turn our school into a domestic famous school. The environment of the school is graceful. Trees pleasant shades and the brightness of flowers and birdsongs are seen and heard everywhere. There are palm gardens, green bamboo plantation land; lotus pavilions etc. Such districts of scenery with characteristics make it become a ideal holy land for studying.

The school has excellent teachers. There are 113 teaching and administrative staffs on the permanent staff in the school now, among them the number of full-time teacher is 80. 69 of them obtain the intermediate professional title for teaching. It takes up 86% of the total number of the teachers in school. Obtain advanced professional title for teaching is 26. It takes up 32.5% of the total number of the teachers in school. Academic credentials of whole school teachers up to standard are 90%. Large quantities of teachers participate in the course class of the graduate student of East China Normal University at present, improve and receive training the academic credentials. The school has 25 teaching classes now, in which 22 classes are of high school with 1225 students; 3 classes of junior middle school.

The hardware of the school is well equipped. There are completed laboratories in the school, such as the instrument room , electric classroom , pronunciation room , reading room , library , sports apparatus room , music room , fine arts room , clinic ,etc. Besides, there are two computer rooms which amount to 71 computers, psychological consultation room, and multimedia classroom one respectively. Closed-circuit TV systems are equipped in the classroom; the audio-visual education program equipment belongs to Baise school is up the first level in Baise City. School sports facilities are sound, there are stadium of annular runway of 200 meters, five basketball courts, three volleyball courts, seven courts, 13 table tennis tables.
