Orientation for the New Teachers
Buckland International Education Group provides
free training and orientation
during February and August every year. Free meals and
accommodation will be provided during you staying in Yangshuo.
The training courses include:
Chinese laws and culture;
Awareness
of culture shocks you may encounter in China;
How
to teach Chinese students;
Chinese
classroom culture;
Chinese
classroom management;
Lesson
Plans;
Lesson
activities;
Teaching
Demonstration;
Teaching
Practice and Observation;
prevention
and resolution of problems you may have;
Basic
Mandarin;
The Schedule of Buckland Orientation
program in Aug. 2008 in Yangshuo:
The
32th program is from Aug.18 to 22;
The
33th program is from Aug. 25 to 29;
The
34th program is from Sept. 1 to 5;
Daily Schedule
Breakfast: 8: 20-8: 50
Morning class: 9:00-12:00
Lunch£º12£º00-13£º00
Afternoon class 14:00-17:00
Dinner£º17:40-18£º30
New teachers are welcome to arrive and participate 1- 3
days before this time. There are additional training periods
planned for teachers who arrive on other dates. You will stay
in Yangshuo
5-10 days before leaving for your school. During this time,
as well as giving you basic training and orientation, sightseeing,
we make sure that you have a chance to rest and recuperate
from your travel to China.
